Trial. Whether referencing legal or a series of circumstances, this word very seldom tops the list of anyone’s list for happy occasions. This trial would be no exception. The final purpose that Jesus would fulfill here on earth was quickly approaching. With any trial, the ultimate hope would be for justice to be served. This trial would be one where justice would not be served as an innocent man - even known by the person who would deliver the sentence - would be convicted and killed. Justice was far from that day. Or was it?
